Dr Lina Hacker
Lina Hacker received her PhD degree in Medical Sciences at the University of Cambridge under the supervision of Prof. Sarah Bohndiek. Her PhD project was focused on the technical and biological validation of photoacoustic imaging biomarkers in cancer biology. Lina holds a first-class Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering (RWTH Aachen, Germany) and Molecular Medicine (Bonn University, Germany), respectively. Her research interest lies in applying novel approaches for cancer imaging, specifically relating to tumour hypoxia.
