Deborah joined the redOxKCL team in October 2019 working on the development of novel contrast agents. Prior to this, Deborah completed her first postdoctoral position with Bart Cornelissen at the University of Oxford investigating novel PET imaging agents. Her PhD was undertaken at Griffith University in Australia under the supervision of Professor Sally-Ann Poulsen where her thesis focussed on the development of novel imaging agents to image tumour hypoxia. She holds an MChem in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of St. Andrews and a masters in Imaging (MSci) from the University of Birmingham. She was a tutor at St. Hugh’s College in Organic Chemistry and her research interests include using a variety of metals as imaging agents.
